          I was looking forward to thrashing Durjoy Datta after a really brief, verbal review of one of his books, but there was a power shutdown that day and I chose the book of his which had the least file size and started reading it.           The plot summary of this book is as follows: A young medical student with ALS (the disease that Stephen Hawking has) and an alcoholic young man, both end up in the same room in a hospital and are treated by a handsome, genius of a doctor and a beautiful (read hot) female doctor. The relationship that the dying patients form with each other and with the doctors is the story. Really depressing, right? But, it actually doesn't feel that way. Ok, it does a little, but it's definitely not bad.          I love flawed characters, but you already know that, don't you? Well, this book has only one seriously flawed character but the word flawed is an understatement ...

                      As usual, I wanted to begin with a witty remark or a catchy line(sort of) but the only line that I could think of is a spoiler for the review and not exactly accurate too. So we'll come to that later.                  The plot summary of this movie is actually quite predictable if you know what to expect from a comedy horror film in Tamil. A real estate agent's biggest dream is to buy a house as he has had many bitter experiences with the many house owners of his previous homes. He thus wants to buy a house by hook or by crook. The house that he finally buys turns out to have some other claimants and that leads to other complications, not to mention the resident ghost of the house. The rest of the movie is about how the hero reacts to these situations and how he retains his house(because let's face it he is definitely going to win).       ...

                    This is probably the only Chetan Bhagat book review, where I am going to issue a spoiler alert.                     There are a lot of reasons to hate as well as love this stupid book but according to the Bible, the sins of the author are visited upon the books and so this book gets an average review unlike the good one I gave for Five Point Someone.                  The plot is as filmy as the rest. A famous author, who turns out to be Chetan Bhagat (surprise,  surprise!), meets Madhav Jha who gives him the journals of his dead half - girlfriend and tells him to throw it away. Unable to bear the suspense the stupid author reads the pages which are intelligible and then calls Madhav who has comfortably left his phone number and asks his story.                     The plot summary of this book can be stated in two ways: The story of how radically different Sebastian is compared to his parents. This is the brief way. The other more precise but lengthier plot summary is this:                           The Lord Chancellor finally makes the decision regarding the lives of Harry, Emma and Giles. Emma tries to track down the baby found in her father's office who she realises is her half-sister. Meanwhile Giles' new girlfriend Lady Virginia Fenwick causes some problems in the family. Sebastian grows up and aspires to win a scholarship to Cambridge- a feat which both of his parents failed to achieve. But further problems come up in his life. Old enemies are resurrected and new, far more deadly ones appear in this third installment of the Clifton Chronicles.               ...

                        Finally, I have read a good book from Chetan Bhagat. The impossible has happened. But it's not very surprising. But more about that later.                                          Let me begin with the plot summary. Three new students at the most famous institution in India, bond over an escape from ragging. They then proceed to dismantle their lives with their stupid decisions. They decide fun over marks. They are not unintelligent of course, how could they have gotten into IIT otherwise? Trust me, I don't have a problem with him mentioning Tamil words as 'something something' because he doesn't know that language.
